We are looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager who is passionate about working for an international humanitarian organisation and who shares the values of our organisation and the wider sector. A professional who has confidence, knowledge and experience in identifying, analysing and responding to the requirements of donors, regulatory bodies and laws in the UK, who can help the organisation manage the impact of legal and regulatory change, develop policies and be part of the overall assurance and risk management solutions at Action Against Hunger.
The role will work with teams across all organisational departments including Operations, Finance and Fundraising, to support Action Against Hunger (and its downstream partners within the international network of which it is part) to meet the rigorous compliance requirements of the Charity Commission and of many of our larger donors including the UK Department for International Development (DFID).
This role sits within the Operations department and is accountable to the Operations Director but will exercise responsibilities to, and provide services for, the whole organisation, under the direction of the Senior Management Team and the Head of Programme Funding.
